Make sure you take the carb screw all the way out.

Pinch Bolt is all the way out. It twist easy but I cant pull it out. I am using channel locks with a rag between the jaws to protect the carb body

The bolt is out but are the 2 small pieces that the screw goes through out? If not these will need to be removed another issue you might have is if the pinch bolt was over tightened and causing the insulator to flare out where it was squeezed.

You can also heat the neck with a heat gun and that will help in two ways -- it will expand the neck a bit and it also makes the plastic material that the carb neck insert is made out of a bit more flexible. I've found that trick really helps. You don't even have to get it super hot to make it slide out easily.

I never take the pinch bolt out on the rare occasions I need to remove the carb..
I loosen the bolt about 5mm then push it back in to pop out the other half of the assembly then twist it and pull it out..
I havent used channel locks on a carb before but it CANT be good.
if you having trouble maybe take it to someone at the track who has dont it before and have them give you a hand.

yes I have before the Werks fuel.... runs good, good runtime, not as good as for the engine as the werks is but it would be my second choice.

hey man,
Where's Johnson City, NY? I'm a distributor for Werks Fuel in the NY/NJ/PA area. And as always, if you guys are looking for Werks Fuel locally, ask your LHS. If you create the demand, your the customer, they'll try to meet your needs.
