If you have the money, get the Ofna.

Do you want Ready to Run or a kit?
Just throwing some sc's out there like sc10, xxx-sct, blitz, or slash. Those are some of bigger names for sc. as far as racing goes i would prefer sc10. from bashing i would say slash. just my opinion though.

Well it has been a while since ive raced. Im just starting to get back into it, im more into gas. but im lookin for something new like sc class. Im looking for something cheaper, whether it be a rtr or a kit, whichever will cost less since im setting a budget. Probably 2wd, and something thatll take a beating.

SC10. This is mine on the way to TQ and win in the 2wd class last time I raced it. 'Nuff said LOL. Seriously though, all of the 2wd trucks are pretty good. I love my SC10, but you need to understand and like setting your truck up, because if you miss, it's awful. From what I hear, the setup on the FT kit is pretty good right out of the box. That wasn't so with the early kits or RTR trucks, don't know if they've changed it in the newer RTR. The Traxxas is probably the most forgiving of the trucks, but doesn't have nearly as much adjustability as the others. Haven't driven the Losi, HPI, or K-car, but have raced against them and they all looked good on the track. If you go with a RTR, go BL if you can. I'd check track rules and parts availability where you plan to race and see if that makes a difference.

Depending on 2WD or 4WD preference, I would recommend the Kyosho Ultima SC-R 2WD. Very easy to drive fast and extremely consistent platform. All the top name brands are great race chassis and could assist putting you on the podium. Would also recommend visiting your local race track and attempt to watch/see what's being ran there for future parts/setup assisstance.
