I found an online hobbyshop that states they'll have the Pro 7.5 motor in stock May 10.......

I'm thinking of a nylon nut on threaded rod or something like that.

The biggest difference between the two is the price and the fact one lasts for months instead of just few heats ....
As long as they have a HARD Ano coating on them they will last for a long time. As long as you keep the dirt out. I wouldn't recommend them for anything other than indoor clay.

Or carpet obviously

Light weight pinions are most useful when running a 1/12 carpet car .

In off-road the motor has a transmission with gears & slipper and their weight cancels out any usefulness a lite pinion can give....

Lunsford redesigned their front axles to have a 4-40 screws instead of a nylon lock nut. Looks like I'm gonna have to keep my nuts in my pants instead of on my front axles.

Does the old RC10 axle actually fit on the B4? I've got some extra ones sitting around in my shop. I'll check out out after lunch....

A quality hex wrench and some tightening is all you need. Loc-tite if your really worried about it, but as long as you tighten them well enough you should be fine.

Anyone running kyosho shocks on their b4s? If you are what gains did you see?
I feel like with some playing Ive gotten my v2 shocks pretty good. The hardest part was trying to get the springs not to rub. Ive played with the non big bore Kyosho springs and they help with that issue although the rear springs are a bit short.

Im considering getting a set but wondering if it would be worth the cash. Thanks!

again?

It doesn't cancel it out. That weight in the transmission was always there. It only lessens the effect. But the benefits are still there, just not enough to make most people notice

Default K Springs

I made the switch to K-Springs and tried them for the first time friday night. The car felt great and didn't chassis slap nearly as hard as the AE springs. I ended up with the Orange Fronts and Cobalt Blue Rears. They are a bit larger dia but set on the shock great and do not rub on the rear shock.

Very happy with them at this point.

Good to hear. I was going to order some of the orange fronts but looks like everyone on here bought em all, because they're sold out on A-Main
