There are plenty of good companies out there but I know Team Orion has some good sensor-less motors. Also, Fantom Racing motors can work in either sensored or sensor-less mode and they just came out with the new Ion 3's a few months back. Those are pretty good motors as well.

Thanks modturtle for all your help, I actually had the team orion motor/esc setup but I gave it to my cousin for his b-day...... I never got to run it but I'll check out how it is when he does......... I most likely will get a sensored setup down the line, but I gotta get better at racing first before I spend to much money on systems I can't even control lol.....

I'd look for a sensor-less motor (or a motor that can run either sensored or sensor-less) that is 13.5 turns. Also, Fantom Racing motors can work in either sensored or sensor-less mode and they just came out with the new Ion 3's a few months back. Those are pretty good motors as well.

No problem
Yeah, check out the the equipment in his car! You can always go to your local race track and most people there will be more than willing to help/give advice
better than here on the forums where occasionally you'll get the trolls... watch out for the green ones

Well, you can always post here with whatever questions you have! And be sure to use the forum's 'search' function to look for answers that have already been posted. This thread also has a TON of info in it; you can scroll back any time and see if your question is already in here

The Orions are very smooth. The 8.5 is a good choice but depends on track size as well. Amain has marked the current Orion model line down in anticipation of the new model line coming out.

Anyone come up with a better way to attach the front wheels on the B4's? I'm not real thrilled with the little screw that comes with the kit and I actually had the wheel come flying off yesterday when testing some adjustments in my yard. I'm thinking of a nylon nut on threaded rod or something like that.

That is unknown. The Orion website shows them in stock but none of the hobby shops have them. I would suspect in the next two weeks. The new ESC from them called the R10 is going to be a nice piece of kit.
