Default Duplex ESC?

Hi All

Anyone tried to double up 2 ESCs?

I was thinking instead of investing in a super rooster, can I just buy a Y harness and double 2 Futaba MC 330 CRs?

Each run with its own pack and its own motor. Any problems with voltage going to the receivers?

How about parallel the 2 ESCs input battery leads and use 1 battery?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Actually, they make an ESC like that. Its called the Novak EVX. Or Traxxas EVX. But it is made by Novak anyways. It comes with the Traxxas Emaxx. Because it uses 2 packs (14.4v) and 2 motors.

Default EVX

Thanks a lot!

I know about the EVX and some other M Tronics ESCs.

I heard bad things happening to EVXs so I 'm staying off that. Just want to try something different.

Cheers

I heard MTroniks ESCs are pretty well made. A lot of people like their MTroniks Cirrus ESCs.

you would have to check weather the esc sends 3V or 6V to the receiver, if they both send 6V, problem, if only 3V, okay accually, if wired in paralel, it wont make a differench, but good idea to haul out the multi meter
