Default LiPo in a DX3S

I was wondering if it is possible to put a LiPo into a Spektrum DX3S?
1. If it is possible how do you do it?
2. What do you need in order to do it?
3. Does anyone out there offer a service to do this type of mod? Cost?
It would be awesome if this could be done.

Thanks,
Philip Webb

So if ya gonna use a recharge AA battery what’s the lowest voltage warning set on the DX3 to be safe.

If you use decent nimh LSD (Low Self Discharge) cells such as Sanyo Eneloops set it at 4.8v

I charge mine back up after 8 hours use and never get close to the alarm

Cheers
