Both are Top Notch ESC's. Either one you buy you won't be disappointed. But keep this in mind The LRP doesn't have reverse setting and Tekin does.

You don't need the RS Pro, just the RS.

Run an Orca with the new software. Just don't go to Nats with it...

Hobbywing Xtremestock. Just as fast as a tekin, only better built.

+1 for the 120a

Great speedy. Runs flawlessly with 17.5 boosted and will do low turn mod no problem.

For boosted, you can't deny that Tekin probably the most powerful out there right now. Just look at how many who used Tekin at Snowbirds.

Then look how many were used in the Stock class at TITC.. two, out of a field of 200 odd drivers!
Nothing against Tekin per se, but a wider look is also required...

^^ It's only because Tekin are not speedo of the week right now. Go with the herd, buy what everyone else is buying. Next month it will change, and won't be "the best" any more!
I've had my Tekins for about 3 years now, never had a problem, and I can confidently say that I have NEVER out-driven them. Same goes for 99% of the others out there.
When your driving skill is good enough to get you in the A in a national event, worry about the esc (or who you want to sponsor you), until then, buy then one that the fastest guy at your track who talks to you uses, then get him to set it up for you

that's cos nearly everyone in the US uses tekin, and in asia everyone uses HW. They are exaggerations of course but you know what I mean.

Hobbywing if you can get it. Pricewise it cannot be beat. Performance is very good with the latest software.

Tekin used to be popular in Asia. Now it is Hobbywing.
