Default steering & throttle servo buggin out!

wassup guys..i have a nitro rtr hpi rs4 evo3, i was running a hump battery pack for the radio and servos..last night i shortened the wire on the battery pack, after i turned on the car the servos started to go haywire! So I thought I had done something wrong when i shortened the wire on the battery pack, so i used the AA battery pack that came with the kit, used brand new AA batteries on the AA pack and also put new batteries in the controller. Turned on the car and it still went haywire. So, now im pretty stumped what the problem is. I made sure i connected the throttle and steering servos to the correct slots on the radio and i tried using different crystal sets, still not luck..please help! thanks fellas

If you have another receiver laying around or have a buddy that has one you can borrow for 10mins I would start there. Its having interference caused by something?? If not, im sure your local hobby shop has another radio receiver laying around you could try. Just a place to start bud.. let us know how you go and what you figure out.
