Anyone have dx2s telemetry issues regarding showing incorrect lipo battery voltage?

Hey folks. I have the DX2S DSM 2-Ch Transmitter w/Receiver and for some reason it is not accurately displaying the battery voltage. I am using two 2s lipos (total 4s). When I turn on the dx2s, it shows RX Batt: 5.8V with both batteries fully charged. Correct me if I'm wrong but a fully charged 2s lipo is 4.2V and since I am using two, that would make it 8.4V. Shouldn't I be seeing RX Batt: 8.4V? Please help!

you are right. I noticed that I meant to say 8.4v regarding my 2s lipos. And going back to my original post, since im running two 2s lipos, i should be seeing 16.8v on my screen.

you're only going to see the 5.8V coming from the ESC.. not the battery voltage from your lipos...now if you connect your 2x2s lipos to your RX.. you will not see a 16.8V on your screen but would see smoke from your RX...

the 16.8V is the input voltage to your ESC... your ESC limits the voltage output going to your RX to 6V(in your case, 5.8V)...this is what your RX is measuring and is displaying...spektrum RX has an input voltage range from 3.8V to 9V...

Please check the max input of voltage to SR3300T not over 9.6V!!
The LIPO as photo is not fully charged, so display only 6.4V.

If you have your ESC connected to your reciever then you are not monitoring battery voltage
The voltage you see on the screen is the bec circuit from the ESC, and it will not change regardless of your main pack voltage

I connect the BEC power to my servo.
This is the same concept of 1cell 1/12 car using extra pack of battery for receiver & servo.

For the hobby shop & RC manufacturers, it is ture for them to told the customer to buy additional components...But if my receiver (SR3300T) already have such abilitiy, why i need to pay. Also, the additional components cost me a lot, in items of money, space/weight in my RC car.....

Of course, my receiver is connected to & powered by LIPO directly (not as you expected powered by ESC). And the voltage display on TX is LIPO's battery, not BEC of ESC !!
