Thx for all the help on tyre selection! Guess I'll be packing both 81's and Bigshots just to cover all options.
See y'all there.
Cheers,

Can we run bearings in stock motors at the cup. Casue I think I read on the web site we can, But we couldn't at the Castle Hill pro-am.
Doesn't matter either way. Just so I know which motor's to bring.

Maitland accomodation
I have just booked into the Molly Morgan Motor Inn, which is about a five minute drive from the track. 02 4933 5422
I've stayed there before and it's perfectly decent. $90 for a double room.
The local Country Comfort (now called 'Monte Pio') want $140!
If I recall correctly, the local Bowling Club is the gun choice for a top feed too
Cheers,
Scotty P.

Ok, from the race meeting on the weekend, bigshots were the tyre of choice..
a few ppl tried 81's but found the bigshots alot better.
red and silver compound was working.
red a little more traction but unstable,, with silver being stable in the rough seection because of less sidewall flex.
red compound did have the forward traction advantige, but not bye much.

dont want to stir the pot relating to the bushed stock motors, however, at the arrcmacc state title last year at maitland, there wasnt a clear rule at the time, and bearings were allowed to be run, this also was only told to us on the actual day of competition, has this rule been clarified since then?

Yes
Go to the arrcmcc web site and have a look its all there in black and white.
