Default 3s lipo with MambaMonster

I'm wondering who has tried a 3 cell lipo with the Momba Monster system? I'm running a 2200KV motor on a losi 8ight-e. I've heard a few people say that the esc cuts out if you use only three cells but others say it works great. I don't know who to believe.

No reason why the ESC would cut out

Motor will draw heaps of amps depending on how you have it geared, not ideally suited for 3s

Cheers

I run 3s in my hyper 9e with mamba monster/2650 kv combo. No problems at all...ever. I even let my 10 year old drive my new toy with a 2s pack and it worked fine... not something I would recommend, but it functioned without issue.

Excellent run times, runs cool, plenty of speed (17 pinion usually), and if I need to pull a tree stump or shred tires even faster I just throw in a 4s pack for uber stupid power.

I very rarely run any boost via my castle link programming, and if I run on a smaller track I lower the output power to 75%. The system has more than enough power on 3s to allow me to gear my buggy for the track and back my power down where W.O.T. is attained under control. I may not be the best driver on a given track (almost a guarantee ) but nobody has run away from me.

My monster is pretty versatile and bulletproof. I have zero complaints and would run the same system again. Because of my experience with it I will wholeheartedly recommend it to you and am confident you will be happy.
