Default 2.4GHz radios

Hey guys, Im looking for a 2.4GHz radio for nitro onroad racing, that basically has all the features you would need ie: throw rates, end points and stuff like that, similar to the Spektrum DX radios and KO Helios (?)
So Im looking for a new radio with all those features, but have no idea what would be a good radio for a good price. Not after anything fancy or spectacular, but then I might just end up getting a DX3R if all else fails.
So can anyone list what would be good like I described? Thanks!

I havent run onroad in like a decade. When i got back into this im pretty stuck on offroad for now.

I am running a MX-3X and I have way more adjustments that i can really find use for.

EPA, EXP, dual rates, can even control the speeds of servos. In my nitro i slow the throttle down and it saves me some fuel but doesnt slow me down on the track.

Awesome radio for the price.

I'm running the Traxxas 2.4 Link Tx/Rx's in all four of my R/C's. Not because I'm a traxxas fan (note, I do not own one Traxxas!) but, it's inexpensive, has all the features I need/want, and get's the job done quite nicely.

Brand new Rx's are only $45 shipped to my door, which is great. I've got the 3-ch Tx which is great for my XXL (I use reverse) and in my other R/C's the mini Link Rx is nice and small, fits into tight spaces and doesn't take up much room.

All in all, very happy with it. Oh, and it has TONS of different features that I don't even use. Might want to look into them if you're considering a purchase...

Well, Im not planning on getting any time soon.
Still waiting on the release of the V-One R4, plus saving up on the funds on more or less prioritizing my life for now.
But I really do like the MX-3X, more than enough for what I need, I just hope that it's built with quality

The DX3R setup is nice as well. Simple and effective.

Jamie, I have an MX-3X here, aswell as my M11-X.

If you want I can bring it down next Sunday so you can have a look/feel of it?

I wouldn't trade in my M11 for a Spektrum radio even if I got paid for it...

The steering wheel on the Spektrum radio is too big and the spring for the steering tension feels like butter.

Try to find an M11 or M11-X in eBay. I have owned mine for 4 years and never had a single problem.

They are going very very cheap on eBay with Module + receiver.

Which Sunday would that be? This coming one? If it is, Ill try and come down, but what is it going to be in?
I've stopped racing for a while, until I get save up some more money, eventually get the R4, and then get back into it

Won't be in anything, I dont use the radio, I just got it as it was only $50 more then buying another RX for my M11X - Meaning I now have a back up radio, and another receiver

I am using the Futaba 3PKS and it has more features, bells and whistles than I will probably ever use.

If this radio was broke, lost or stolen, I would replace it with the Futaba 4PKS without giving it a second thought. The only difference between the 3PKS and 4PKS is an extra channel on the 4PKS - comes in handy for rock crawling, LEDs, winches, etc.

Well, it definitely won't be doing anything except powering steering and throttle servos and a PT.
So far the MX-3X is on my shopping list unless something just as good has a better price!
