Thanks Greg G
For me it was a cost issue, got them for 36 USD incl. shipping off ebay.
But they come without springs and the black springs that i was going to use on them is longer than the white that comes with TRF 54000 set.
The black springs is also thinner wire than white springs, I use blue whites upfront and yellow blacks rear. Seems like it works best at our track....

I am taking it to Tamiya on Saturday for its maiden voyage on asphalt with spec tires (S Grips) Below are the hop ups that I put on it aside from what came with it. All parts and screws are tamiya

Titanium Screw Set
Diff and Gear Box Alum Plates
Adjustable Ball diff
CVD'S axles (rear)
Hardened Front Axles
Alum. Servo Brace
Alum. Blue Ball ends
M05 front shock tower
Alum recess washers
Special Edition Black TRF Shocks
Alum Rear Uprights
Carbon Fiber Gear Shafts
Alum Sterring Arm
Alum 4 mm Clamp style hubs
Alum rear, front, steering, camber tie rods
I think thats it ???? LOL

The wiring is kinda messy but oh well I am running the long wheel base with
the tamiya BMW body till I find out which one I want to run. Enjoy.
Would it be too much to ask for your part numbers?

Thanks,

Ivan

How many times have I ordered parts from them and it shows in stock and 2 weeks later they say SORRY not available. I if I had a penny? Yes they are limited which means they only made X amount and never to made again.

Does anyone have any opinions on the aluminum motor/tranny plates yet? Just wondering if they're worth popping cash on. They look like they'll improve rigidity in the gearbox to some degree. I'm wondering when the gearbox cover will appear in aluminum to make it really stable.

Also, does anyone else find it odd that 3Racing hasn't released a single M-06 part yet? They usually jump allover these sorts of things.

Alright, the Sakura FF geardiff fits M05/M06.

Just put mine together, and with some modifications it fits right in, at the end cover i took off the lip and filled it with #5000 Green Tamiya diff oil.

I decided to mount it into my M05, after a full nights racing not a drop has leaked and very happy with the smooth diff action it has. Same tension in diff for entire evening of racing.

Now the wait is for one more to add to my M06...

I buy Tamiya!!!! No need to modify anything and its the best quality HANDS DOWN. Dont try and save your self 15% when you can buy the real thing. I mean come on. 3 racing is cool and all but when they replicate parts they are far from Tamiya's quality strength and durability. Arguments???????????? I didn't think so. # racing has great additions to tamiya cars but they can't compare when they try to replicate the actaul parts.

What? Why the attitude? I just proved the diff fits, you don't have to buy it or like it, i don't care what you think.

I buy 3Racing hop-ups for all my minis (M03, M04, M05, M06) and they work perfectly for a 3rd of the price.
