I'm not up on all the bodies but most I know of (Tom's and Levin Toyotas, 406, 850, Accord, GTI, Civic VTI, JAS Civic, and the Beam's Integra (I think)) are all long. The Clio is medium ... so is that the only shorter body? I really had to hack out the wheel wells on my Accord to get it to work with the medium wheelbase.

TCS max is Spur: 80 tooth, Pinion: 54 for a 3.85. You can get to a 3.82 with a 78 spur if you just want to max out the gearing. On carpet when I try and run that I'm frying eggs on my motors. Going to a 4.3 motors are still a little warmish but at least they are under 200 degrees.

Hope some FF03 hotshots come to Omaha for the TCS. I'd really like to see how my car stands up to a good one. I can put mine in the A of our USGT class (21.5 open esc) but can't get anywhere near the front. This is understandable just want to see how I stack up against people running the car/class regularly.

Hi,
I just received my FF-03Pro kit and couldn't resist the temptation of building it straight away. Still waiting for the option parts... plan to built it with all the bells and whistles from Tamiya inventories....

Would a Kimbrough 80t 64p spur fit this car?
Anyone tried Type C tires on carpet?
Thanks!

My thrust bearing failed on me, there was not enough clearance for the bearing to move freely and it was actually pressed into the diff half. Has anyone had this problem? And has anyone used a another manufactures thrust bearing?

I don't think they are the best choice for the FF03 chassis, cause it gives the car too much traction in the front.
But that's my opinion

installed a new robinson 60T 48 pitch spur and 47t 48 pitch pinion which gives me a 3.something FDR. if the motor heats up fast, i might change to slower motor
