Ask the Brittish offroaders, They'll know it.

Or because all the fwd's have the engine mounted sideways? The difference is in the details, suspension, equipment etc...
Accually I make fun of FWD cars because they are FWD. It's not making fun of a car because of its drive shaft design. Think more along the lines of a Ford vs. Chevy argument.

BTW Chevy is better.

Can probally servive crashes well, no exposed shock towers, but the suspension is probally harder to setup.

lets see now..... the tc3 is still winning big races, and is in every a main at a higher level race...

why in the world would they wqnt to change it???? ITS WASTED MONEY....

the only change i could see them making is to use the nitro suspension on a tc3 electric tub.....

it has been made as a conversion already from someone else...

but as they said in a few threds up if it aint broke....dont fix it

Are there pics of a prototype or something floating about? Or is this just another rumour? This is probably the most anticipated release going.

Yeah it's still winning races all over but progress is progress. We all know that they've got something in the works. It's just a matter of time.

Eric.

I like the tub chassis. It protects the electronics. Do you know how much it costs to repair XXtra after your car has been T-boned.

I thought you were talking about Predator, but it's not from Far East.

Default Tenth Technology Predator

The TTech Predator was and still is a great car capable of winning at national and international level. Not only in offroad but their touring car was extremely fast as well. The offroader won many British national titles and for 4-5 years was practically unbeatable. In fact I myself ran one at the 1995 and 1997 offroad world championships in Japan and at Pomona.
I think the reason that it didn't catch on as well in the States as Europe is that it wasn't suited as well to the American tracks as the European tracks.
I still know people who run them with success.

I like the idea of stealth diffs with the battery pack underneath the shaft. Anyone have pics of such a setup? Maybe one of the existing cars of today has it. I haven't seen one at my local track yet. But I haven't spent a whole lot of time looking at the new cars either.

Still like the TC3 even though it's a bit old. I like the layout. I just got back into this hobby from a 15 year hiatus. And I love it even more now. It's a great pass time. And really addictive.

Eric.
