Just like Spec SCT should have spec tires, spec motor, and spec batteries, no timing adjustment, that would be better for the racing part of the hobby, but who really wants that?
Isnt there basically a mod 2wd sc class now? Or did everyone in the a-main actually have a 17.5 turn motor? If you don't have a 17.5 turn or smaller, it's considered a mod truck.... Or am i wrong?
Or are they just running huge 3s batteries? Sc 17.5 (i thought), was a 2s max limit...

I run a Tekin RS and Redline 17.5. I run absolutely no timing. It's hard enough to control wheelspin without it. Pick a clean line and carry as much speed as possible through the corners. In SC it's more important to avoid the marshals and pileups. I find myself more focused on avoiding traffic than anything else.
I think we should just make 2wd Mod SC an available class anyway tho, as the SC guys improve skillz, it's an area they can step in up without having to hve a whole new vehicle, but it will take some adjusting as SC's get loose, the 2wd's that is once it gets the grunt of a
13.5+.
Also there are quite a few guys with 2SC's also, I'm sure some would choose 2wd Mod SC. Mabye not immediately, but it will grow. Many tracks out there run that as their premier class because of the boom of SC.
Just an idea. Open up the class and let people choose.
