NOOB 2011 - Chat Thread
Hey all,
This is a thread for us to chat about NOOB 2011. For info on the race, click here.
Let's keep our discussion on the series, feedback and queries here.
As always, we can't promise that everything suggested will be implemented, but we can guarantee that it will be heard and considered.
At the end of the day, the NOOB series is here to grow the RC offroad community by providing a fun and friendly environment to all who share the same passion. The idea is to encourage and create an environment for anyone to improve on their own offroad driving among friends - and not a competition where it's every man for himself to win at all costs.
So if you share the same vision, we look forward to having a laugh or two with you at the races - and here's wishing everyone better personal best laptimes and many more fun times at the track in 2011.

This much is for sure, the organizers are all keen to do another vintage event so prep those cars and talk about them (on the NOOB CLASSICS discussion thread perhaps?) so we might ignite the interest in others to join us.
As Kum Yew has pointed out, only restriction is size of motor which should be no larger than standard 540 size ones. So any typical 1/10 motor will do - no restriction on winds.
Thanks for your interest. Alan is right - the track at Bottle Tree Park is probably not suitable for 4x4 SCTs and they currently aren't allowed to run there anyway... so I'm afraid for now they are not part of our Truck class.
