Other than the fact that they're a quality product that come in a variety of lengths they are also very flexible but for your application your LRP cable should suit you just fine.

A friend sent me a link to this thread, so here it goes.
I think the greatest advantage in using our cables is the flexibility they provide. This is really important for pan cars as the cable can be routed in such a way (neatly/stealthly) that it will not tweak or bind the pod. You can't do this with other cables that are really stiff.
Other advantages are the use of silicone insulation for the wires and tube that won't easily burn if they get touched with a soldering iron and the secure crimping of the jacket and conductor. We also offer 10 different lengths from 50mm to 270mm to keep everyone happy.
