I am having a hard time getting any answers on the radio so far. I was going to buy one last night BUT I want to see the manual first.

The advertised 6.8ms frame rate seems really good. Now we just need to see if it works as advertised. I'm debating between a 4PL and an Airtronics MX-3X. I guess we need to wait for some reviews to come out.

I saw some guys on a rock crawling forum that have them and also have some vids of them.....they love the Dual ESC capabilities of it. I am trying to get someone to post the manual online since it is not on Futaba's web site yet. I guess the manual is like a book though.

i have it and its great its the dx3s of the futaba world but better it has all the smae functions as the 4pk but it cant change between fasst mode and s-fssh mode it only runs on s-fssh mode which is just fine. it would be a good buy i only paid 206.95 on ebay for mine brand new

Ive had one race on mine, so far i really like it.
Its lite, very comfortable, and fast enough for what i need.

Came from 3PK, and M11 to me the 4PL is every bit as responsive as them both..

Just quickly browsed the manual, I don't see it has drop down wheel adapter. Thats probably the other difference from 4PK

I like the 4PL. It's no good for left-handers though.

The drop down isn't a option if it was i would dump my 4pk for this radio. This was confirmed by a futaba engineer which helped design all these new radios.

Does anyone know if the 4PL has a steering dual rate override? I know on my 3pk I have a button on the grip that allows me to have 100% steering only while the button is pushed. I'm just wondering if the 4PL has this. I see the button on the grip, but can it be programmed to override the D/R?
