Can the GTB handle a 550 ballistic motor? I think the specs say they can handle down to a 3.5T 540, but no mention of 550s such as the ballistic. I'm thinking of a setup for my hyper10sc, and have a gtb to use if it'll work.

The GTBs work great on both the Ballistic 550s and the earlier HVs on 2S. Our new GTB2 (same motor limit and on-resistance of the original GTBs) will be an excellent choice in SCTs with our 550 motors down to 4.5 turn.

Thanks, I'm considering turning in this non working 7.5T I have to upgrade to a 5.5T or 6.5T 550.

Yes. The Kinetic 2S would be great on 2S.

Yes, as long as you operate the Kinetic 2S/Ballistic 550 4.5 on two lipos only.

as in 7.4v/2S.....no 3S, 4S ect.

Both the Kinetic 2S and the Ballistic 550 4.5T motor are rated 2S, only.

Some of the 550s are rated for more than 2S, check the drop-down wound stator options:

this is the reason for my post, some clown might take "two lipos" as a pair of 2S packs and make some big smoke.
