Full speed reverse....

Howdy all
I have a question, but I'm not certain whether it pertains to the ESC or the Radio.
I have a B4.1 and I just installed a Novak Ballistic/Havoc Pro combo along with an Airtronics MX-3x. I've selected that the ESC enables reverse as I'm still getting used to the car and at the tracks I run for practice, reverse is handy.
What I've discovered is that when I use the brakes, then hit reverse - it's basically all on or all off - there doesn't seem to be any way to feather the throttle in reverse (which is not like the RTR radio and ESC that I am used to)
Am I missing something in the setup of the transmitter that would calm this down a bit?
thanks in advance,
Mike

Hmm, possibly try setting your Brake EPA @ 160%, then re-calibrate the ESC.
I've had a look through the manual, and I can't find anything that could be causing the problems you describe (I have the MX-3X as a spare).

Quick update - I changed the trigger position a bit - that helped a little - but it's still about 100% more touchy than forward. Changing the brake EPA didn't seem to make a difference.
NovakTwo, I've sent a note to tech support with all the info

Interesting - I didn't see that anywhere, but I'll look again.
I think the trick may be in the trigger position - they talk about electronic throw and mechanical throw in the transmitter setup section. I suppose on the mx-3x that would be the EPAs in an electronic sense (I think) but it seems to have helped some that moved the trigger more towards the middle with the adjustment screw
(and yeah, it does definitely get trucking in reverse lol)
