I personally know Al so I doubt he's making it up, but with that said if it's being ran on a indoor track with no long straights that isn't unheard of since you burn alot of your fuel on wide open straights. Also I'm sure there would be a major needle change that would need to be made going from the 13 to the 86.

I also noticed a huge swing in the power band. It really moved everything way up. I wasn't really getting all of it's power until about half way down the straight. Where as the 2057 has really smooth power all the way through.

Hi guys. Just headed home from racing. I have not tried the works pipes as of yet. They were not in my budget just yet. I was getting 14+ consistantly during all my practice runs. Running 14/48 gearing. Only 30 minute main so I ran 10 minute pits. My buddy is running the b5 in his 2.0 on 13/50 gearing with a 086 pipe. His main was 45 minutes so we pitted him at 11 1/2 and saved him 1 stop over the field. These motors are the best!

I can confirm nitro al did get the 14 minute runtime. I was there and temp his motor it was at 205. Granted its a tight track but it was fast. I also seen him get over 13 mins in texas on a huge track.
I just ended up finishing 3rd overall in pro truggy running my pitstops at 11 1/2 mins with fuel to spare also with an 086 pipe. Alan richards drove an awesome race and brought it home with his b5.
I was an os driver but I think ill stick to my werks engines. U should too!

it was the il state nitro champs, not the midwest. i used werks b5 motors in both buggy and truggy,2057 and 2013 pipes and werks clutches to qual. 5th in buggy and 2nd in truggy. put a new fuel tank in the car b4 the main and it was bad, the motor was lean then rich, then lean again, cant believe the motor kept running. too bad, the car/motor was sooo good till i changed the tank
took the win in truggy, love my werks!
