yep its a sad day to where people cant agree on a good thing. But i guess you cant do anything fun anymore. Rather than seeing people have fun and stay away from stupid and bad stuff, they rather see it die. I was stoked about running nitro. Maybe after this shitty economoy turns around we might get another chance to have a nice track in MD.

If this was a baseball field or football field you can sure the township would do what ever it would take to keep it. God forbid if you want to do an out of the norm hobby/sport. No wonder people do everything in their power not to deal with the townships or any other places like them because they all suck!!!!!!!!!! Act like they have more power than god and no one to anything about it.

Is the track still there, but just closed down, or has the track itself and the facilities been removed?

I live in So Ca and have heard about the track there and everyone seemed to like the layout, and the way things were handled.
We are losing tracks in our area also. We have lost a couple nice ones within the last couple of years.
Now I have an opportunity to relocate to your area, and you have also lost an on-road track.
Are there any other on-road faclilties within driving distance of 301?

Blue Diamond is 1.45 hours away. Great sedan track. The word is that they plan on repaving the track and making it bigger so 1/8th scales will want to run there also. If it happens it will be in spring.
