Default comments on the success of the "events" forum

as promised:

any comments on the success (or otherwise) of the current system of managing events taking place around the country?

i think its been a good thing, the way people have been cooperating with the date in the title has made it easy to manage what should be 'important'.

i also think that its kept the main forum free of a 'page worth' of 'important' racing events.

i would like to stress my gratitude to those sticking to the naming standard, it has been a windfall for moderating.

ill see if i can wrangle a poll! please post comments here

I think its a great idea.

Don't always see everything first up, but for me i hear about most of the events at club meets anyway if i miss them in the events thread which i dont click in that often.

Once i find a thread i need i add them to subscriptions.
And when i click on usercp i see threads which have changed since i was last on.

Thumbs up Good Move

Excellent section. Been easy to find the events and information, particularly with the dates in the heading.
Would like to see categories in headings (ie EP ONR, IC OFR etc), but that's just me.

Yeah.
We've standardised the AARCMCC website into....

EP10 - ONR & OFR
EP8 - OFR
IC - ONR & OFR
LS - Large Scale

i love it but i think it needs the state before the title, as i missed one early this year that said nitrox titles or something and had no state or anything i mean thats ok for hardcore racers but the watchers dont look at them, if it said [sa] [vic] [tas] [nsw] so on so on at the start i think it would be better but i like how they get closer to the top the closer they come
