idk if its been covered(dont feel like lookin) but most lhs dont stock kyosho parts because you have to an order for a certain amount of parts if not they wont even ship.*thats what @ least 3 lhs owners/mgrs have told me* what a few of them have done is place 1-2 large orders @ a time to make it worth while. i really dont care if my lhs stocks parts cuz ill just order on line if they cant get it.

btw, kyosho's are priced so high for a reason!

Exactly..... i think part of it is the shipping cost, the LHS doesnt want to pay shipping for K stuff when they can get other brands freight free. The other part is having stuff that may not sell.....they're afraid of being in a few hundred bucks in parts and have the stuff sit and no one want it since maybe no one really asks for it, but then no one will ask for it if they cant see that its available thru their lhs either.

HAHA is this going to happen everytime Kyosho releases or updates something? I mean yes $900 is a lot and yes cars can be had cheaper. But the Kyosho is a proven platform that gets wins. I don't run kyosho because I can't afford to and that's it. I've always stayed away based on that fact and nothing else. I do believe there will be a WC edition(it's a great marketing idea honestly) as for the price probably about $1k

i dont think shipping is it because its shipped outta Cali somewhere(cant rmemeber where) if they had parts it may be from a previous order, maybe that someone ordered and didnt pick up. the lhs where i order mugen/kyosho parts automatically orders 2 of everything when he buys Kysosho. so if you were to order that $900 kit he'd order 2 and part it out if the other one doesnt sell in a timely fashion

Kyosho America went away with the $200.00 minimum orders over 2 months ago. Now there is no minimum to buy for any hobby shop.

I don't see Kyosho coming out with a WC edition seeing how the TKI2 was released recently, maybe updated conversion kit or something along those lines, but to produce 300+ kits just for a few minor changes King made to the original tki2? The WC would come with what different springs, radio tray, and set up sheet? It would suck for the guys that just spent $900 on a new tki2 and a newer kit is released soon after, but on the other hand it will still be the mp9 platform so you could just buy the updated parts, like most did when the tki2 came out.
