I sent the last couple of engines of mine to Rex, the first for a pinch, the second for new bearings and had him mod the crank.

Does a great job, reasonable, fast turn-around and the engine with the mod crank is running superb!

I also got into a situation at the 2010 X-fest in Cambridge, MN and needed to borrow a engine. Ended up running Rex's RW Mod Alpha, and there was no problem with power AT ALL! Very smooth and I was praying for the end of the strait-away to come so that I could let off.

And I also saw the fuel mileage mod first hand. Rex running a good minute longer than anyone else in his classes this weekend.

This should probably be moved to the new section.

This head button is from a motor with 6-7 gallons on it. I polish them up on a normal rebuild.

I'd guess that a plug is installed just to protect the threads from any contamination.

I just got my buddies Go 3 port i sent to rex for a rebuild. He did a awesome job. He notifed me of the wear tolorences on the rod and crank. Everything is way clean. Like a whole new motor and all he replaced was the rod and gave it a pinch. A+ work.

For 2011 I am selling the Argus engines along with the Alpha and Go engines. I am really excited about this as they are made by Alpha and will be great quality. I am taking preorders right now for the Argus engines that will be available in January. I am offering a fully modded Argus for $190.00! add break in for just $20.00 more! Pm me for a special price on stock versions.

Here is a rundown of some pricing for the Argus motors.

Argus stock pm me
Argus .21 modded $190.00
Argus w/ full break in $190.00 (6 tanks)
Argus with short break in $180.00 (3 tanks)
Argus with Mileage crank mod $210.00 crank mod only
Argus full mod with crank mod for mileage $225.00

Std. mod is drill and epoxy ramp crank and sleeve work.

Crank mod for mileage is pretty time consuming, it involves adding a reducer to the id of the crank. Crank is lighter than stock when done though. I have seen about a minute or more of runtime improvement.

I feel that the first couple tanks on a motor are the most important. That why I am offering a short break in, motor will fire up much easier and needles will be set.

I personally think that the motor will have lots of power in stock form. If you buy it and want it modded later after you have ran it I will give you a discount. I also do rebuilds on motors I sell at a discount.

Rex
