You'd have to get some track bucks first in order to bet them on someone...

I'll keep working on the 2wd and get my truck running again, my car truly felt like my T4, I even matched my fastest lap with my buggy tonight.

My prediction of larry beating Matt was still right. Oh and I have track bucks, just not from last night.

I'm not making any excuses, but I think John is handing out performance enhancing drugs to "team back door pern stars".
Gimme another week or two to get the Evader all set and then there'll be 4 buggies scrappin for the top........well, 3 when John breaks.
Even if I can't catch all of ya'll, the fact that I'm usually on or near the lead lap is satisfaction enough for me.

Hey Matt,
I got some losi XX shocks that I'm not using, if you want to give them a try....

Practice + Tuning/Tinkering = Performance Enhancing Drugs.....

Trust me, 75% of the time we spend at our pits, its spent talking about R/C racing....

might be kickin my ass, but not really kickin my A$$ when I'm rollin a $100 RTR buggy with a brushed motor.

BTW......ya'll might want to be careful with the whole dichotomy thing going on per the back room reach around. Sponsored/fast guys should be out in the pits helping EVERYONE......not just their own.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the offer brother, but I don't want any asterix when I finally knock the dust off and get around you and Larry.......and John.

I actually like how the car handles, I just have to work on my driving.

Whatever dude, Im always out there, and I help everyone that asks. YOU JUST GOTTA LISTEN. I cant help those that run Evaders or toy cars though, cause I have to also help promote what the shop sells and/or the sponsor. And ask Mark or John, EVERY SINGLE DAY, I dont even drive....I stop by the shop and roam around pits sitting with everyone helping them understand what they are looking at, and they arent even racing !

We are all in the back because we atually are at the track more than just Wednesday and alot easier to leave our stuff, plus I live right behind the track so I can run down oand work there instead of having my wife yell at me for my mess being all out in the house. It has nothing to do with favoratism. I have no problem or issues with anyone at the track, everyone is cool to me and has good times !

just my 25 cents !

I have to agree with Brandon on this one. He talks a lot of shit on the forum but if you ask him a tuning question he will help you.

I don't know how many of you know this, but we do pay a renting fee for pitting in the back room, it's not like Mark and John picked a select few to pit in the back. As a matter of fact, everyone back there is at the track at least twice a week.

As for helping people out.....Ask the newer guys if we've helped them or not, it's just that veteran rc racers are less receptive and accepting of other racers' setup skills....As Mark would say, "you can't babysit everyone"

I'm not takin aim at any one specific person here fellas so lets all just cool our jets.
All I was sayin is
1) I don't care either way.......if I can make it down once a week or even every other week, I'm happy.
2) The back room thing might appear to some as favoritism seeing as how it's chock full of fast guys.....again, I don't care. I'm just looking at it purely from a business standpoint.
3) Brandon, you have a PM

i can vouch for the "fast guys in the back room" who have all helped me out.

you guys are all great, and that's why i'm there every wednesday evening. i wish i could be there more often.

the only critisim i have for the back room is that on a night like last night when there's not that many people there the main pits are too quiet. it would have been cool if there were more seats filled in the main pit area. but that can't really be changed, it just felt like a ghost town out there and matt and i were left all alone to rub each others feet.

oh yeah the other problem is the back pits smell a bit like ball sweat.
(i swear i heard one of you talking about how ball sweat makes a great tire conditoner)

It works good on the tires because of the high salinity content. I ain't rubbin your smelly dogs anymore either!
