Onroad racing - spring 2010
#21
I know that Brian and Jeff are talking with Bob Gilson the landlord about possibilities but there is also the issue of lap counting at two locations. If there is interest it would be nice to have an onroad program some weeknight.

Tonight is Onroad. Last week we had a very light attendance with only 7 drivers for 2 classes. If tonight has low turnout onroad will be over for Tuesday nights, so come on out and race lets keep the show going!!

It appears that the onroad interest at Marcca for this spring has ended. Very few showed last week and almost zero this week.
Given it takes a big commitment to run this program it is only fair to close it due to lack of participation. We thank Matt Lust and Spike for putting forth the effort the past four weeks.
We will be opening the idea again in the fall. We are a club and will listen to what the racers want. It will also take some dedication and time to make it happen. Clubs rely on members to take charge and get things done.

Better start thinking of what class this will belong in, cause you know I'm gonna have one (I just gotta be me...)

You guys WILL have a hydrogen refueling station at the indoor track next year right?
Unfortunatly I think it said 30 Watt output, ugh...

We are searching for a place to race this winter. Very few leads at this time.
When we do get the carpet down we will certainly offer on road racing to our membership. It will be up to them to make it what they want and provide the work to make it happen.
