hey guys i'm having a problem with my traxxas slash 1/16 when turnn on the speed control without the turning pluged into the receiver the speed control works but when i plug it in the speed control stops working and has a flashing red light? has any one had this problem?

Sounds like you have a probably blown servo... which happens pretty frequently... if its new or under warranty call Traxxas and have them send you a RMA to send in the servo for checking and replacement...
