Are you running it sensored or sensorless? I have two MMP's wired to Novak ballistic motors, on one the sensor wire plug broke so I ran it sensorless. That one cogs horribly while the sensored one doesn't at all. I've heard certain motors just do not like to run sensorless.

Castle initial batch of MMPs had sensor port probs which have been fixed. They will fix the MMPs with the bad sensor port -

I have the same problem. Motor works fine on other esc's than the mmpro. My sensor port is fine and it worked with my LRP 21.5 sensored with no issues. I ended up just swapping to a different ESC.

**Edit** this solution seems to have just masked the problem. The hobbywing I tried to replace it with jus. Had so much lag off the line it hid the issue. I could probably play with punch or torque control and make it work the same with the mamba. The performance is just so weak I think I have motor problems (brand new motor too)

My suggestion would be to try another motor on the mamba or try your motor on another esc and isolate the issue.

same set up,same problem but i also use a Spektrum cap but it doesn't make any difference. Sent the ESC to repair ,i'll see what happen when it'll get's back.
I'm thinking about selling it right away, castle made it again like it did with the first batch of MMM .
Besides,i've turned on a brand new MMMv3 yesterday,it made the first beep,it turned on just the yellow led and then it's gone, dead. . . . without any smoke coming out of it . . .both replaced today with a coupple of Tekin's (RX8/RSpro) both working fine.
I wont get Castle stuff anymore.
