Default Servo Question

Okay im pretty sure my JR 9100s is taking a dump. Its a year old and has a lot of time on it in a truggy. It was my throttle servo. It works fine when Im on throttle, but when I use brakes it makes a gronin noise and shudders back and forth. Its still under warranty and Im sending it back to Horizon for repair or replacement. Does it sound like the Servo is goin bad?

Sounds like your break setup has something binding up or installed incorrectly.

Yea Frank it does. This thing has been doin some wierd stuff. It seemed fine at CVR. But then I had problems with batterys drainin hell of quick and all that crap. Like I said it seems fine until I hit the brakes and then it will make some wierd noises and then shudder back and forth if i hold it for more than a couple of seconds. I know that its never done that before. Well I guess will see if Horizon is as kind as Hitec. What did you decide on those Alphas. Still thinkin about it or did you do it? Im Rick, Steves buddy........

I see this happen alot after about a year they will start glitching it seems for example in steering the servo will just quickly back and forth verry lil not all the way steerig though. I think its from normal wear and tear.

U got a year out of a 9100s?!? I put a brand new one at throttle and it literally twitched the second input I gave it. Put a 9100t at throttle and haven't looked back.

I had my throttle servo (Futaba) do that when I used the 2.4GHz combo on my KO. When I switched back to FM it worked fine.

Funny....

Before you ditch it have a friend test that servo with their equipment.

I would replace it with a hitec if you can. Horizion is not quite as good as hitec is but it's worth a shot. They usually want to see the receipt.

On the engines I liked the .25 so much imam going to run it until the new speed engine comes out and then prob switch between the 2. I was very close to an alpha ohh well maybe next time.
