whats the c rating on the cells? Good price for 50 bucks plus shipping.

Only qualm i may have is with the connectors. may need to mod some battery trays for a good fit.

My thoughts exactly...
I doubt I'll win - I just emailed my guesses last night, but we'll see

Ok so for everyone who hasn't seen it - go see it
It's kinda cool. But my concern is that ou charge it in parallel so it "doesn't need to be balanced." But isn't that assuming the cells did not drift at all while you were running your car in series? Just curious as to how that will work out...

Jason - for a business professional representing a company, you sure like to stir the pot.

Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this, but Marcos told everyone to cut it out, then you come back with a child like reply. Just drop it. Not just in this thread but throughout the board.

Austin was always more professional, especially when it came to company products. You seem to provoke arguments. I have dealt with both of you on the phone many times. You’re professional on the phone, why not on rctech when your comments reflect your company?

IMO - you should take a look at the way Randy or the guys form Novak handle business or comments when on line. They don’t look like whiny unprofessional - while you do.

Take it for what it’s worth; just remember your representing your company when you comment - not necessarily yourself.

Just my .02

I also own several max amps lipos, and though they are expensive compared to others, the warantee and customer service make up for it.

Geeze how about a little humor............... People really need to relax a bit. Honestly I could care less what the haters say any more it's always the same little group with the same old replies, thus my comment on trying something new.

Soooo, what is is? Is it the multiple voltage battery?

Perhaps they have high prices on batteries (unfortunately so high I can't afford to purchase)-- but, I have heard great things about them. When I ordered some goodies with a coupon last week they communicated well and the shipping was fast.

I'm even wearing my MaxAmps shirt right now.

Oh, I guess nobody gets a Slash 4x4!

something to keep in mind, the boards have no context as far as how you say something. On face value, without context, things said in jest in normal face to face conversation can have a totally different meaning without that context.

Oh, and you owe me a "What What" youtube video of your dancing! Austin said you would!!!

Balancing is not an issue. Two cells one fully charged one discharged put together in parallel take less than 5 minutes to equal out. We even tested this on the charger as well one fully charged one empty put on the charger real fast and charged away with no issues. Now mix in an old cell with new cells and yes they will have a slight discharge rate difference but with most of us these days running LVC's at 3.4 to 3.5 volts per cell it's not an issue. Trust me guys we did our home work. This isn't something we just tossed together and went with. We have been testing and playing with these for a while now. The reason for the Slash give away was because we used one for the test bed. It works and it works very well.

what about prices? did you do any homework whatsoever when it came to prices?

I can see the use for such a pack/system, but wouldn't it have to cost less than buying the individual packs for anyone to seriously consider it?

Looks like somebody needs to go to summer school............

Ammo check the prices out bud,

Built 5250 Prices: http://www.maxamps.com/products.php?cat=59

MV 5250 prices: http://maxamps.com/products.php?cat=274

If you click on the additional cell drop down menu you will see that the MV pack system is cheaper.

Sorry bud but you get an F when it comes to price comparisons.

I normally do not buy from MA, nothing against them I just haven't bought from them. Your MV packs look awesome though! I am definitely going to check them out, $49.99 is actually a great price! Oh, I thought it was for multiple cells for $49.99. Still a pretty good price.
