The New Werks B5 .21 Racing Engine
#4802
Good choice for the price of it....however to maximize performance get the Werks 2013. The AE 2035 will mute the engine a bit when compared to the Werks 2013, especially on the low end. IMO get the Werks pipe and adjust clutch, gearing and epa's to get the engine more tame if you need it to be so.

Hey Ron I just picked up a B5 and I love it! Just curious....do you think you will ever offer your engines with ceramic bearings? Keep up the great work. Your customer service, along with your engines, is second to none!

Hey guys I'm just throwing it out there, I'm not going to run my b5, gonna get another vspec, the b5 is new, sealed, shave right side mount for my mp9, clutch will be removed for pics. Asking $170 shipped, paypal only, usps priority w/ confirmation, and tracking number. Will be on eBay, can end early for someone on here.

Depends if your running buggy, I'm running it in my mp9 TKI and it is AWESOME. Plenty of bottom end and a lot of mid to top, and its extremely smooth. Good mileage too. Getting 9 minutes easy with a ton of wheel spin and only running at 220 on a 95 degree day. Not too mention I only have about 1.5 gallons including break in.

Hey guys just a quick update on my sons b-5 that has close 6 gallons on it.
I decided to pull the filter neck off to check the gap on the idle. What I found was a large idle gap. What made me do this is I was chasing a tune that was causing a major run on.
I set it right at 1mm due to how fuel is through his engine. Engine would not start. I richened the low to what turned into a few hours and leaned the high one full turn under flush.
Still didnt get the idle that I wanted so I had raised the idle screw ever so slightly. Run on went away and the idle was so smooth it had me worried as it would drop down right at 3 seconds after clearing it out.
Put it on the track for the first qual. He was on his lid too long before getting marshalled and flamed. He told me that he had amazing power and that his engine was as smooth as it has ever been. I was going to raise the idle just a little bit but he yelled at me not to touch it.
Went into the main and it ran like a champ!!!!!!!!!!!!
For some reason I have it in my head that by running it with a higher idle that it will not flame. As a father seeing my son flame kills me specially when we are both driving at the same time and I cant do anything for him.
Going to be buying another one for sure.
