just an update to this thread in case anyone else is trying to do this mod. u have to buy an adapter right from airtronics(hobbypeople). i spoke with them today and had to order the wheel, wheel sponge, and adapter to get it to fit the older m11 radio

I will get it for you when I get home from work. It makes the older .m11 look just like the m11x! Good stuff!
