Default Hitec HS7940TH

Anyone running these on 1/8th off road (Truggy & Buggy)? I blew up a JR 9100HVS and looking for something very similiar in speed. I currently run the 9100 HVS for steering and throttle in my buggy and truggy.

Let me know how they hold up and how is Hitec with warranty repair?

10 races on it in my d8 and so far no issues. when i switched from dx3r to Eurus had to slow the servo down as it was too fast

use it along with 7950. very happy with the performance

I've been running the 7940TH for both throttle and steering in my Serpent 811 with no issues. I did have a JR 9100HVS fail on me almost immediately (throttle)... think it was an odd fluke as the car wasn't even warmed up yet so it couldn't have been heat. Changing to the Hitecs so far has yielded no issues. I'm about 6 race weekends in with them so far.

As for their warranty repair, haven't had to deal with it yet so don't know.

Great, thanks for the input. I am hoping it can take the abuse from off road, my 9100HVS decided to die in the middle of the main (throttle). Seems like the motor went out on it.

+1 been running it since it came out. just barely (2 weeks ago) started getting a little notchy. sent it in to hitec, they just got it yesterday so we will see what the outcome is. but very pleased with the overall performance of these servos. run the 7940 for throttle duties and 7950 for steering in my xray xb808

7940 burnt on my throttle in my mp9 after about 6-7 races and a bunch of practice, sent it back got a new one and sold it, put a 7955 in its place.
