Planning on purchasing between these Two Radio?
MX3X or KO EX5?
I want something that has Long Range and Future Proof.

The Airtronics is much more user friendly. I actually had to read the manual for the EX-5.

I would go with the MX-3X over the EX-5. The MX has a better feel and the menu is easier to navigate. The EX-5 looks and feels really cheap. The EX-5 also has that long antenna that does not pull down. I was surprised that KO made it. KO makes excellent radios. The EX-10 in my opinion is the best radio ever made. I hate that I sold mine last year.
