Disappointed with Airtronics servos

I recently purchased a couple of Airtronics 94361z servos. They're rated for 200 in-oz at 6V with a speed of 0.07s. I installed one in my buggy and the other in my truggy. In both, they seemed much slower than the advertised 0.07s. They seemed very close in speed to my other 200 in-oz servos spec'd at 0.15s (perhaps a tick faster...0.13s maybe, but not near 0.07s). In my truggy, the 94361z also didn't seem to center well. I believe these are some of the latest Airtronics servos and are digital with a spec'd very fast transit time, which is why I got them. But thus far, they don't seem to have anywhere near the advertised speed and the torque doesn't seem that great either (seems actually slightly less torquey than my other 200 in-oz servos which are cheapy servos that I felt were over-rated).
Can these servos take 7.4V?...perhaps that will help if I decided to go that route. Thus far, of the higher end servos, my best experience is with JRs, which seem to have under-rated torque and speed, contrary to the Airtronics which seem to be considerably over-rated specs from the factory.
Anyone have any ideas, comments, or other experiences with Airtronics' current digital servos?
