All the newer GX Series parts and components will slot straight into that motor (including the GX carb, any of the 3 PRS sets, crankshaft etc).

Contact Rex (22Racer) on here for parts etc. I got plenty of parts but I'm 14,000 miles away

Hey inferno, sorry I haven't popped into this forum for awhile.... I run that same motor but in a losi buggy. I run the same black/comp and green/alum clutch as most with no issues. Unfortunately I don't run Truggy. You should be able to use the harder green/gold spring setup typical on truggy
Maybe jump over to the 2.0 truggy forum and confirm that's what everyone is running.

Ran my GX-5R in my RC8T CE today. The engine has good bottom end. It did flame out on me twice probably due to running to rich. It never really got over 200*. Plus I have the original glow plug in and the break in shim installed. I'll change the plug and take out the shim and she how runs. I also have the 7 venturi installed.

try go usa web site, then you will see a rex weltch as a dealer. get ahold of him for parts. there is no racefactor web site[that I know of] If not go to massive mods web site. Mark will have everything you need. It will only take 2-3 extra days to get your stuff. Also motomatt on here is a dealer also. I am looking into becoming a dealer and setting it up like Grizz. Just a palce to order parts no thrills. SINCE WE DON'T HAVE THAT HERE IN THE USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with the single exception of heat sinks, I have a COMPLETE parts inventory for the GX engines. and I am in the U.S.

I believe Rex (22racer) has a large parts inventory as well.

GX Part number 21-0600 (Pro Con Rod) fits your Gen 5.5 7 Port - so just contact Motomatt or 22 Racer and spend that hard earned cash (not much though, as GO parts are very reasonably priced ).
