Default SERVO's

I am looking at getting a new digital servo but have some ?'s

1. i use an old (12 years) tekin ESC and a KO PROPO EX-5 radio will these run a digital servo?

2. Its a toss up between the hitec 5925 and the futaba 9451 can anyone give positives/negative for these im leaning towards the hitec as i can get a good price on one.

Thanks for the help

Gary

Default Digital Servo

I highly recommend a Futaba S9550.

they are the same, though i belive the s9550 pulls like 0.01kg less then the S9451, the differernce is in the size, the s9550 is VERY flat compared to the s9451

Default difference

checking the specs the 9550 is a low profile version of the 9541 which is a standard size

Which digital servos are better?
JR or Futaba
I have a JR radio and wondering which would be the best to use?
Which one is cheaper?
Which one is faster/stronger?

because of the price of digital servos, they are almost always high torque, also, I don't belive they need the FET because they are digital.

Last time we had them, I belive the S9451 servos were around the $180 mark

I believe the Futaba Digital Servo you are chasing depending on the dollar is around $80 australian dollars from Hong Kong.
