Gday im looking at buying a tamiya f103 or a f104
can anyone one out there give me a insight as what would be the better
model to race competitive ive spoken to a few pepole about it and the word is
the f103 is better for racing but looking at both spec sheets i reckon the f104 sounds better any suggestions

R1wurks Dual fan setup
This would be perfect for GTP/LMP bodies. Nice product!

Agree with previous posts that it would look ugly on an F1.

The F103 was designed with rubber tyres and asphalt in mind.
The F104 with foams and carpet.
In my home track (large outdoor asphalt), my 103 runs as well if not better than the bunch of 104's of the other guys.

Actually the F103 was designed with foam tires. The rubber tires did not come out for the F103 until several years after it was first introduced. Pan cars in general do better on a foam tire than on a rubber tire if given enough grip and both cars are a type of pan car.

Depending on the size track a 17.5 may be fine...but to be a more controlled class maybe look at a 21.5 from the VTA series or a 25.5.

F103 Body ??? Has anyone seen this before ?
Hi, f103ers,
I just started out with Pancars and found a F103 together with this body:. Previous owner could not comment on it...
When searching I could only find the F103 with the Audi R8 Spyder type body(58247), not this Audi R8C closed body type.
Is it another brand in the end ?
I want to know what I got before I wreck it
ideas, anyone ?
cheers, Stefan
