The Serpe Motor is a GREAT motor for a buggy. I run it in my buggy on a BAD Dusty track wear you could not use all the Power and the motor worked Great it was so Smooth it help me keep from Blowing the tires off coming out of the corners. I ran it in the 2nd Round of the Arkansas Pro Series and Qualified 2 in the A Maine with the motor and had some troubles and had to drop out of the race but the Little Serpe motor is a GOOD motor for the Price it cant be Beat.

toofless i would not run the Serpe in a truggy i just don't think it will have the bottom end to work good in a truggy it is a Great buggy motor if you are looking for one that is Smooth with good top end. The Serpe Motor works good on Big Out Door Tracks with Sweeping Turns and Long Straight's .

Ok so I ended up getting the cobra evo X1 cause the price was too good to refuse, I'm currently breaking it in, I have done about 25mins of 3min cycles and bout 40 mins of 5mins cycles, how do I know when I can stop using a heat gun to start, this thing still has heaps of pinch and I'm very impressed so far

You can take the Plug out and check to see if it has any Metal to Metal Pinch Left. If the piston gets stuck at TDC then you need to keep heating it with the Heat gun.

But to be honest i use a Heat gun all the time i have a motor that has 11 gallons on it and i use a heat gun on it to this day it make it EZer to start and help with the tune.

Look at the Competition Heat all you do is put it on you head Plug it in and it keeps your motor Right at 200 in temps and you can leave it hooked up all day. Ron at Cold Fusion sales them Give him a call he can fix you up. www.coldfusionrcproducts.com Are his number is(352) 342-4033

i'm no expert by any means.

but if you have followed my posts on this thread, it's how i have been tuning the engine. i ran my engine in following the run in procedures included with the engine.

i stopped using the heat gun (aka hair dryer) on my engine since about the 5th time i started running it on the road. but it's been starting first bump ever since.

i had a few minor tuning issues when running the engine in. basically i did run it a few times too lean, but that wasn't entirely my fault as the engine wouldn't start on the factory rich setting. this only happened when i gave the engine a burst to WOT, i richened it up straight away.

it's now seen 3L and it's getting better all the time.

All he needs to do is make sure it is Tight and when i say tight i mean Tight so tight you think its gone to strip the plug out and it will stop Leaking.

All so most of use Axe Rossi guys run the O'Donnell #97 turbo glow plug it dont Leak as bad and we are getting longe run time out of these plugs.
