I have a 1 1/8th scale xtm off road buggy and recently the car flipped and the servo broke. I can now steer the car but have no control over the acceleration and stopping as when hold down the throttle nothing happens.

I am not a expert with these kind of things and have just got a new futaba 83003 servo. First of all , when i do connect it, the servo makes a buzzing noise and spins about 180 degrees and then does nothing. At this point i still cant make it move by holding down the throttle.

what do i need to do to allow the cars servo to work and also how do i connect up the servo to the necessary parts on the buggy.

I can't tell from the last receiver picture, but the throttle servo should be on channel 2, the steering servo on channel 1, and the battery on either one of the remaining ports.

one other question, how do you fit the spring thing onto the servo
