Could have been lost or held up in the mail. You never know.

Leaving neg. feedback w/o knowing the exact reason for the delay was a B.S. move on your part, especially when he refunded your money.

Not that it makes a difference but seeing how you handled this situation I would never and will never do any business with you.

If it is lost in the mail then absolutely B.S. for leaving negative. I have a package from Ebay that has been lost in the postal system for 18 days now only going to MN. The guy is threatening negative feedback and blah blah. I provided him with a delivery confirmation # and answered every email within a couple hours.
This is not what this seller has done apparently and any joker can say it was lost in the mail but without a delivery confirmation # or tracking of some kind its impossible to prove.

This is a rough case. I do agree that its completely irrelevant what you look like to your buddies.

Well I've read the comments and need to restate that I have not left negative feedback as of yet on his percentage of deals icon. I thought I made that clear. I just stated the facts of the matter. I also stated that if I do receive the item, I will retract everything, except the slow shipping part. I was promised a tracking number and never got that. How difficult is that to do. He did give me my money back and apologized, but that doesn't change promises made. I will also let the waiter know when my steak is overdone.

As of today, I bought the kid another truck due mainly to the fact that some Norcal Pros came together and stepped up.

Thanks to all for taking the time to post your ideas. Also a special thanks to the guys that PMed me or posted in support for the right thing.

I'm Done!!!

Interesting point. Having been a member of ebay since 2001, I too feel that the Positive / Neutral / Negative rating system should be more like the one you stated. Unfortunately, most people don't view it like this. Most people look at a sellers feedback and become suspicious if they see any neutrals or negatives. Just because you think that this is the way it should be done does not mean that you should tarnish someones reputation over it.

In the case of this transaction, you received a refund. In the end, he made the situation right by issuing a full refund. Either leave positive feedback or don't leave any feedback. I'd recommend the latter....

I have had several dealings with Mr. Pressley and i can say you will not find a better man to deal with. I have also sent several things through the postal service and it took a long time to get there..just for example i sent a body to a company that was only 2 hrs away and it took almost a month to get there! you cant leave negative feedback for something that is not his fault. He even refunded your money! not just anyone would do that!

Don't buy him a car you'll lose your pit man/turn marshal!

I sell a lot of things a lot of places and fully expect a negative if I were to do something like this.
I just sold something on Ebay last week and said I would ship on Saturday. I couldn't ship until yesterday and so I refunded the guy his entire purchase price AND shipped in the hopes of not getting a neutral or negative.

Of course this is just my opinion but someone tying up your money for 2+ weeks definitely deserves a negative feedback.
This same guy TS is talking about did this to me last year, i was out 425 for 2+ weeks.

This is the same thing RCScrewz (the person on this forum and actual company rep/owner) does to most people. Though I haven't seen the dirtbag in awhile.

My opinion is these people are using these deals as short term interest free loans to take care of something else. Why pay the $45 fee from your local check cashing place when you can do it free over the net? Sucks.

I think the negative feedback is warranted. You gave him the money, he promised to ship and provide tracking. Some may argue "what if it got lost in the mail", if you had the tracking you would know if it got lost in shipping.

I am a strong believer in Occam's Razor - He didnt give you the tracking number because he probably never sent it.

OK. I admit that I did have to Google Occam's Razor. It is a good theory and 9 times out of 10 the obvious reason is the only reason.

Sure, but what if he's #10? I don't think negative feedback is warranted. Neutral at best, but not negative. I understand you were out money, but he did refund the full amount. A scammer would have never responded to anything and you would still be out money. Just my .02.
