Thank you for your mail and interest in our engines. In regards to your question about our engines I'm happy to say that yes, we are still producing them. Unfortunately we are just experiencing the tail end of the supply disruption brought on by all of the factories in Italy being shut down for a good part of the year due to the pandemic/Covid. This has created a shortage of raw materials for production i.e. metals from foundries on top of a back log with outside services like anodizing and hardening which further delayed production. On top of that add on the shipping issues that I'm sure you have heard mention of on TV lately and you end up with a perfect storm of issues creating delays. The good thing though is that we are almost thought this, have engines in production and expect to be shipping them again within 30 days. So please rest assured all of our dealers will be fully stocked up again shortly!

Best Regards,

Werks

Nope we're still here, I just have not been on here a lot the last few months! Anything specific that I can help you with?

Yes that's exactly the situation, thanks for passing on the info! The biggest issues specifically as stated in our email swayysta posted above has been getting the specially formulated steel from the foundry that we use for the crankshafts and the back log with annodizing the cases and heads (which the factory in Italy outsources). The light is at the end of the tunnel though and as mentioned we currently have engines in production that will be shipping shortly!

Engines, pipes and engine parts should start coming back in stock over the next few weeks. Fuel is not something that you will be seeing anytime soon though as with the decline in the nitro market we stopped producing that around the middle to end of last year.

Well it is now February 15th, 2 months after the post that said in a few weeks and none of the online retailers have any Nitro engines in stock yet. Why can't we just buy direct from werksracing.com?

I have a b6 II pro and piston is toasted, little clip that holds wrist pin in place failed and messed up the piston.
Recently ordered b6 piston/sleve kit on amain, it was on backorder at the time. They refunded me 10 days later and now it says discontinued online.
Now, p/s kit for b2 pro is available on amain and Im wondering if that piston would work in b6 since b2,b3,b5 and b6 are using the same rod.
I mesured the diameter of my piston, its 16.5mm. Thats the info I need from you guys, diameter of b2 piston if anyone has one .

just a forewarning

Hey guys look out for a scammer named GLENCOE trying to sell werks parts now that we’ve let it be known people are looking for parts. He tries to scam people into any parts they need. And he hasn’t been banned which is weird since there are a lot of threads in the scamming section saying they were scammed by him out of hundreds of dollars. He’s going after people in the normal threads now and not just the wantto buy (wtb) section. The moderators need to delete that section, and then ban glencoe. He almost got me today and when I saw him say send money friends and family I did my research. Moderators please give a look at this and clean the mess that he’s causing.
