Since this turned out to be complete vaporware.... is there ANY tracks in San Diego? Accord to the google map link at top of this forum, there's NONE.

That's pretty freaking sad that a city this big has no track.

Even if you lived right on the TJ/SD border and drive slow, Barona is only 51 minutes away. If you are closer and drive like most people on the fwy, you can get there in 40 or so minutes. Not too bad for a full day of racing with a few dozen others!

Default what about backyard tracks?
I have a backyard track here in Lakeside. I just built it over the last few months all with a shovel and I'm up for people coming over to drive in the afternoons. It's not much but it is fun. if your interested and you don't mind hanging out with a straight edge Christian guy let me know and maybe we could do some driving.

I don't know if it's the same guy but there is a new track opening up really soon at Miramar, it's indoor electric only though. Lucky person, they're gonna make a killing in San Diego.

I heard about this track as well but dont know any details. If someone knows more please let us know.
