Keefy,

Any reason you use HPI springs over the Xray springs? Seen alot of people using HPI springs..

A bit more aggressive when compared to same hardness xray, felt the car was too easy to drive.

I might have to give them a try, a bonus is they are much cheaper than the Xray equivalent..

Thanks

With the new progressive springs(2.2-2.6) with the writing on the spring facing up do you have the soft compression first or the hard compression first?
Put the progressive springs on all around with writing facing up and it seems to be less responsive and have less steering than 3.0 at the front and 2.6 at theback

The soft part of thew spring will allways compress first, regardless of the orientation of the spring.

That would tally, you have dropped your spring rates down to 2.2 for the initial movement with a maximum of 2.6 has the springs reach maxuimum compression. Softer springs will feel less 'direct'. but yeild more grip.

Would my setup be more successful if i used 2.6 or 2.8 at the front with the progressives at the back?
