You said i'm smoking crack remember !
after i complimented you for your great customer service and awesome sales. So boo on you.
again don't say you go 11:30 and then pit at 7.30.... run out of gas in truggy or flame out before 9 minutes......
I am truthful. i won't let you falsely say things.
I'm gone. bye ron !

RB five- man I had lost some respect for you for after the race. Yes you did win but it def got handed to you.. It was a stratagy screw up from Bill Connards pit crew that handed you the race. But thats part of racing. So congrats on your win. But you def don't have room to talk a whole lot of trash. I also noticed in your other video from our A-main that you let a lap car who was almost right infront of you in your video absolutely pull away from you in only 2 minutes of that video. Whats funny about that is that is was me with a struggling engine due to have fuel tank problems all day.
You def didn't have the car to win but you did what it takes to win(so congrats). You beat 3 cars that had to be restarted. I def know I wish I didn't get caught up in the 1st lap wreck. I honestly think your results could have been alittle different. Or even if Chad Wallace didn't have a flame out issue and a non experianced pit person it could have been different. I just think you need a different attitude... I lost all respect for you.

As a pit man that is.
RB FIVE ran a good race and we had an excellent pit strategy. He got some breaks with other people's issues, but he also did something for that win. Same thing can be said about the Pro buggy race. Mo ran a great race, had a good pit strategy and caught somewhat of a break with Anthony's flame out. But did he deserve the win any less? Nope. Not one bit. It's all part of racing, and the only thing that really matters is who crosses the line first.
I think what this all really comes down to is RB FIVE didn't have luck with his B5 and felt insulted by one of Ron's posts. That is all that needs to be said. This all started as a simple comparison between two engines and got blown all out of proportion. So let's race!

yeah and it's childish which wouldn't surprise me after seeing his attitude after his win. I mean we all know how big of a prick Ron is to everyone??? i mean come on...
now back to the B5 and away from the Great Lakes pro series race... It's in the past and these engines are still selling...
and yet 2 more days for the big news guys... enjoy

There's where it all comes back to me being amazing.

And in regards to RB Five, him being insulted by one of my posts frankly I think has nothing to do with it. He has been starting stuff for a long time, his posts are continuously trying to stir stuff and it seems that he enjoys trying to get a rise out of people so in my opinion this did not start out as a simple comparison between engines and escalate. It started off with some one that does not know how to communicate properly and enjoys continually creating drama simply going to far and some one (namely me) getting sick of it and calling him on it.
In any case I've said what I had to say, this has been a great thread in the past and lets try to get it back on track!
Any just in case you thought that I might have forgotten......... 1 day! ;-P

YA please stay off RBFIVE we are all tired of your comments. There are so many of us with B5's that get 10 minute pits and over 7 gallons of life, and know the B5 makes killer bottom all the way to the top. You are 1 guy and if you had crappy runtime,no bottom and the engine wore out in a gallon, SURPRISE. You screwed something up, either you cant tune, sucked dirt or something. I am going to say Your bad opinion is no match for thousands of others positive opinion. Do the math..............

But this bantering back and forth is really getting crazy. Please just stop responding to RB five or whatever his name is. This thread is the reason I went with the B5. All of the knowledge in here is great, and it's awsome that you are so active on the forum, and there is almsot an entire community devoted to it.
Can't you guys just hug and make up, or one of you please just stop being drawn in by the other. When my 4 year old gets into a fight with another 4 year old I make him stop talking to the other kid, and take a timeout.
So both of you guys go set in a chair for 5 minutes and calm down, and then give each other a hug and go play transformers. It works everytime.

I just ordered a B5 the other day. It's going to be my first race engine, and I have high hopes for it.

I am running the Fioroni Lightweight Vario on my B5. After a gallon of break-in on the street and finishing up on the track, the shoes show practically no signs of wear. Even the carbon shoe hasnt started rolling over! Its a really good setup!
I would highly recommend setting it up in the #2 position, unless the track has tons of traction. I had it on the #3 position (stiffest), on a dry/loose track and the car was a handful. Switched it to the #2 position (took less than 5 minutes to make the change), and it was killer! I am really happy with this clutch.
I used the Ascendancy clutch bells (13T - 14T), and they work great with the Vario.

Lol, no worries I'm done. Lets get this thread back on track by me thanking you for picking up one of our engines! I'm sure that you will be happy with it. You mentioned that this is your first racing engine, have you taken a look at my break in guide that I wrote on here? Have any questions about anything in it?

Ron

Not to put any pressure on you, but if I don't get at least 5 out of the B5 I'm going to cut my nitro career short, and retire from rc's. It's killing my wallet and the wife is going to kill me if I have to buy another engine in a month or so.
Any advice you can give on engine maintance and upkeep would be great. I really want to get the most out of this engine.
And do you know of any threads that have some clutch or gearing setups to use with the B5?
By the way, I'll be running it in an RC8.

I actually printed off your break in and tunning guide and plan to use them whenever I break it in tommorow if it gets here. The most I've got out of an engine so far is 2 1/2 gallons. It was my fault though on both engines. The first one was a complete tunning problem, and the second one was used and ready to go anyway.

Change Air Filters religiously and when in doubt... Its better to be slightly rich than slightly lean!

JUst break it in correctly,Make sure your tune is correct,(watch your temps) And like underway said always check,clean/replace air filter frequently and you will have no problem getting over 5 gallons out of a B5.
I have ran the life out of 3 B5s since Last October and they all lasted over 7 gallons. And never had flame out or engine issue

Its so nice to be able to race and never worry about your engine letting you down. They have been very trouble free and reliable for me with all the power I could want, even in my truggy they absolutly rip!!
