Default M11 lipo?

I am trying to get a lipo for my m11, i have seen ppl using the 2S 7.4v or 3S 11.1V lipo, my question is.... would it be too much of Voltage if using 11.1v or would be it not enough of voltage if using the 7.4v, cuz currently i have been using 8 cells of 1.2v dry cell. My other question is if i chose to use 11.1v, do I care about the discharge rate like 10C or 15C or 20C? please advise. Thanks.

It depends on what M11 you have. The standard M11 accepts a 3 cell lipo and the M11x accepts a 2 cell pack.

I use this pack in my M11. The charge holds for about a month of racing two time a week. Common sense rc also sells a pack for the M11 but it seems they are out of stock.

I am running the regular M11 with 8 cells. Is it ok to leave the lipo in the tx when not using? cuz i m afraid it will drain the lipo out.......

I never unplug it or take it out, unless I need to charge.

I use the Losi 3 cell 11.1V 2400mah in my M11, it lasts me about a month before I need to charge it and I use it for about 2 hours a week.

how about the discharge rate like the 20C, 15C, or 10C? Do i need to care about it? Can I use 20C lipo for it? will it mass up the tx? Thanks.

Discharge rate doesn't matter, just be sure to remember you can't use your regular xmitter charger with it.

I'd suggest life, i'm a dolt and i leave my radio on all the time so far i've run my life down to 2 volts (for the PACK) like three or 4 times and it has been fine afterwards. I did it once w/ a protek and it puffed.

I'm with you, give a LiFe a try....I would now but I just realized I don't have a LiFe charger lol

for the m11 you can only use the 3s 11.1v lipo. 2s 7.4v is for the new m11x radio.

if you are getting the m11x dont get a LiFe battery, my self and a few other guys at my local track have being have problems with the 6.6v LiFe batterys in the m11x. becouse the low battery sensor or what ever its called goes off at 6.7v on the radio. and it says in the manual that if left in the low battery zone it could result in a loss of control.
