Default Weak Switches

I have had both of my Off-Road SCT vehicle switch off on impact during the A Main!!! Most marshalls do not look for the switch to see if it is off. What can I do? What switch is strong enough to not switch off on impact? Do I even need switches?

HELP!

Switches are not a must, but you must be very careful since plugging your pack in with the radio off could cause a runaway. Always turn your radio on first and youll never have a problem.

You could also try to reposition your switch, sometimes the way its mounted exposes it to great forces going on during a hard run.

I always position the switch so forward is on. That way when I hit something it keeps itself on

In my Jammin SCRT10 the switch is mounted upright with "on" in the forward axis. I hit a jump and tumbled over another vehicle and landed on the rear bumper hard enough to switch off the ESC. I have an external BEC which is hard wired so I had steering and no throttle. I am using Novak stock switches. Someone told me to use 8th scale switches. Can anyone provide some product details as to these switches?

I am looking at JR switchs. Are they stronger?

I may just hard wire my models.

Sounds like its time to hard wire that switch too.
