could yall tell me what you think of this setup for a tmaxx?
picco .15
maxxtraxx axle mods
pro-line maxx suspension kit
high-quality servos
1000 mah+ receiver pack
stock trx TX (it works, why spend more if it works fine...)
stinger/AE pipe
(maybe) alum/ti bulkheads
im guessing it'll all set me back about $800 max?
plz offer suggestions/comments on this setup... thanks

How much nitro experience do you have? Stay away from the picco for now if you are new. Run the trx and learn how they work first. The picco is not for novices. Other than that, the mods are good. You're missing one thing though, a screw kit! Hint Hint !!

do you have the T-Maxx yet? The trx should last a couple of gallons. OS engines are easy to tune and last a long time. Maybe by the time you are ready for a new one they will release a .15cv-rx.

I agree...OS motors are a GREAT upgrade!!! I actually put a .12 cv-r in my truck after the stocky was DONE!!!! A little porting, new pipe and header...it was good!!! And the price was right!
Good upgrade!
Oh, ya, the Screw kit is a definite!!! Makes life SO much easier!!!

While your talking about
OS engines, I just got a 10A slide carb,
and linkage kit. Any needle tips. The
carb was handed to me without and OS
information.
T-D, I got that header in the mail for
you.

Thanks Tony. I'll check tonight when I get home on what settings I have it on. I know it isn't turned out very far on the high side. What engine are you putting it on?
You'll love the throttle response. I get an ear to ear grin when it takes off.

It is a blue headed OS 15
CV. I have had this truck in my workshop
for 6 months, never fired it up. I just
rebuilt the diffs, added aluminum
steering bell cranks, MG steering servo,
Pro-Line chassis kit, lighened aluminum
chassis, Panther slicks.
Now I look at the
weather, and it is supposed to rain all
weekend, ARRGH
